Green Smoothie
2 cups cold water
2 bananas
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen strawberries
½ pound raw baby spinach
Blend until smooth. Makes two huge servings. Will keep in the fridge for a couple of days.
Notes: It is possible to make a green smoothie in a regular $30. blender, but a high power blendtec or vita-mix blender works a lot better. I run a batch twice through the whole fruit cycle on my blendtec to get a perfectly smooth and creamy green smoothie. If you’ve never had one before, the idea is to use enough fruit to cover up the taste of the greens. This recipe just tastes like a regular fruit smoothie to me.

I’m on my way over so you can blend one of these for me. What a beautiful green color it is too!!

I think the green color is beautiful too. But if you don’t want to draw attention to yourself when you drink these around town, you can add a handful of blueberries/blackberries to make it look more like a normal smoothie.

I’m going to make these for the kids for St Patrick’s Day and hopefully get them hooked!
